~r13 The second full-length from Septa is a homecoming. But it's like an astronaut's homecoming, who has returned to the Earth of parallel universe - everything is familiar, it's the same faces around him, but something has utterly changed. It makes you feel a true suspense, and swallow tracks one by one, waiting for a glorious epilogue of Destroyer Pt. 5. A mature sounding in a mix with the unpredictability - that's the new and old face of Septa'. I just wish Pt.5 would be 5 times longer. Favorite track: Destroyer, Pt. 5.

Sean Anderson I actually read a review of this album that pretty much bagged it out and said that it was hard to listen to. I personally found it an amazing album in every way. I love the style changes, each song felt fresh and different. My only gripe is that it leaves me wanting so much more. Great job guys! Favorite track: Destroyer, Pt. 5.

It’s like to look at someone as broken as me To hide a smile that comes from within To drop a shadow of your wry silhouette On every thought that runs through my head To destroy To raze the cities and towns to the ground To deceive, to defile, to destroy To shower flames from the crack in the sky But I’ll rebuild Even if it takes for ages I will rebuild Just to prove that you have failed And I’ll rebuild To see that you’ve paid your wages I will rebuild To make sure that we are even To drop a light of my ablaze silhouette On every thought that runs through your head To destroy To look at someone as broken as me To hide a smile that comes from within To raze the cities and towns to the ground To blacken the sky Why can’t you be another person? Why can’t you live another man’s life? Why can’t you be another person? Why won’t you break another man’s life? You’ve blackened the sky Blacken the sky Poison the well Corrupt the earth Destroy the youth

What goes around Comes back around I don't care what you do As long as it's you And I don't care what you make As long as it's you And I don't care what you say As long as it's you And I don't care what you think As long as it's you Dig under the wreckage And you'll find another wreckage Wreckage under the wreckage We dance on our own graves Ruins on ruins, we dance on ruins Ruins on ruins, make love on ruins Ruins on ruins, we build on ruins Ruins on ruins, let's live on ruins I don't care what you do As long as it's you And I don't care what you make As long as it's you And I don't care what you say As long as it's you And I don't care what you think As long as it's you
3.
I will destroy everything that has not been destroyed by you yet When your defenses down We’ll meet again And I was so gloriously destroyed by a sad smile on your face, and your eyes, and your shoulders, and your hair, and then everything has brightened up, and it was so loud, what was I saying, what was I saying, I don’t really remember and then everything has brightened up, erasing a year or two, I can’t really remember, but your eyes, and your face and your sad smile, or was it mine, I wish I could remember, but everything was so incredibly bright, and I was choking, choking, choking, but one day you’ll take a look in the mirror, and you’ll see your face, your face and then mine, laughing, laughing, laughing, because I’m your reflection, a reflection, I’m your shadow, or am I a wolf, I’m a shadow, I’m a wolf, I’m a shadow, I’m a wolf I’m a shadow, I’m a wolf As days go by And I keep telling lies That one day you’ll be my bride And I say You’ll be my bride But no And no And no No, no Let’s put an end to this charade This pantomime Now I see clear It is my time to disobey And bid farewell To say our last Goodbye

I, Havoc 02:54
I, havok I am destroyer Destructor I can't take it Through the day Without blowing up I, havok I am destroyer Of this world I won't stop Until you drop Right on your knees You, havok But I'm the reason You combust One more word And you will burn To ashes and dust You, havok You are destroyer Destructor I'm afraid Because of me You will blow up I, havok I am destroyer Destructor I can't take it Through the day Without blowing up I, havok I am destroyer Destructor I'm afraid Because of you I will blow up
5.
You’re right Like every other time You’re biting pieces of flesh off But I don’t mind I’m fine Till your another try If you keep applying the pressure I won’t comply You're right For the last time You’re biting pieces of flesh off And I don’t mind It’s fine Yeah, it’s kinda fun But keep on living under the pressure I won't comply Bright Don’t get me angry Or I won’t comply Light Consider forfeit Or I won’t comply Blind I’m sensing treason So I won’t comply Sight Get in the backseat I won’t comply You’re swell, girl I’m coming to your house I’ll take you away, girl We gonna see explosions in the sky You're so swell, girl I'm coming over to your house To take you away, girl We gonna see explosions in the sky Before I show you my real face You got to know that I'm a monster, monster, yeah We've made it feel so good For us to overcome What made me to explode High up into the sky I’ve made it feel so good For us to overcome What made me to explode High up into the sky
6.
Listen to me While can hardly hold my thoughts I speak truly Measuring my every word There is no time Left for me to waste on you You've got it all wrong Everything I’ve said to you You've got it wrong Like a phoenix, I’m rising from the ashes Making a return in the darkest fashion And every time I die I keep reappearing Coming back to life fully resurrected When you thought you knew me Baby, you’re mistaken Nothing’s ever what it seems And I did fake it Burning down to bones It must be very painful But I’m running out of time And I won’t see you later You've got it wrong
7.
It’s like to look at someone as broken as me To hide a smile that comes from within To drop a shadow of your wry silhouette On every thought that runs through my head To destroy To raze the cities and towns to the ground To deceive, to defile, to destroy To shower flames from the crack in the sky

Destroyer, Pt. 1: youtu.be/s6SKDRhgIzw

When we seek to destroy others we often hurt ourselves, because it is the self that wants to be destroyed.

"Thankfully, there’s nothing over-wrought, tiring or overwhelming for the listener to get into. There’s hooks, beats, gazing math and even some Tool-esque passages. It’s not your everyday listen. Don’t take a glance and dismiss this as yet another wanna-be post metal/hardcore/math derp band. Take a deeper look and fall in love with a band that knows a whole lot more than what they’re showing."
— The Sonic Sensory (thesonicsensory.com/2014/11/06/septa-destroyer)

"After all the playthroughs this album's gotten over the last couple of weeks I have no doubt in my mind that Destroyer will end up on my top 10 list at the end of the year so I highly recommend it for anyone looking for progressive music with a penchant for heaviness, melody and a bit of experimentation."
— Daedric Influence (daedricinfluence.weebly.com/blog/septa-destroyer-review-and-interview)

"Nearly everything about Destroyer sounds good. Neither the clean nor the screamed vocals ever overpower band's performance. The overall mix is solid with a great sounding chunky bass tone, and aside from a few missteps, the song structures are completely fluid and listenable."
— Lambgoat (lambgoat.com/reviews/unsigned/15/Septa-Destroyer)

"This band has the balls to experiment with many different elements and concoct a strange, yet satisfying brew of it, not afraid to woo or scar the ears of the listeners. Thankfully the results are on their side - resulting in an oddball that definitely makes it's mark." — Metal Temple (www.metal-temple.com/site/catalogues/entry/reviews/cd_3/s_2/septa-destroyer.htm)

"From the bat shit bonkers metallic side of their persona to their more serene, gentler moments, Septa are clearly a band who like to experiment with their sound, and thankfully the results of their experimentation rarely doing anything other than hit the mark."
— PureGrainAudio (puregrainaudio.com/reviews/septa-destroyer-ep-album-review)

"There were many times on the album that made me confused, but impressed. I sensed experimental aspects of Destroyer that is likely to be what gave the album its uniquely confusing flair. Another thing that stood out on this album was the vocalist: his extraneous presentation was so wrong and so right at the same time, thus my confusion."
— Pig Squeals and Breakdowns (pigsquealsandbreakdowns.com/review-septa-destroyer)

"It’s aggressive, brilliantly composed, and oh so tight. From growling bass guitar lines, meandering vocals that phase in and out from crystal clear to tortured screams, layered harmonies, and guitar riffs that hook you, Destroyer is everything I could have hoped for."
— Project iRadio (www.projectiradio.com/septa-destroyer-review)

"Septa as a band are active in a time when style collage is at an all time high in the field of music and easier than ever with pro-tools, but they are doing it the old fashioned way through hard work and a major focus on songwriting."
— Metal Riot (metalriot.com/news/album-review-septa-destroyer)

"Destroyer is a weird album, and there's no telling who it's going to appeal to. If you're a die hard fan of nü-metal or Deftones it might be up your alley, but you probably need to be a pretty serious fanboy to listen more than once." — Metal Injection (www.metalinjection.net/reviews/album-review-septa-destroyer)

— Neformat.com.ua (www.neformat.com.ua/reviews/septa-destroyer-2014.html)

«В целом, да. Альбом качественный, композиции интересные, энергетически заправляющие по полной. Хороший пост-хардкор, пост-метал, даже местами психоделия». — Yep Magazine (yep.today/en/march2016/reviews/473)
